Abstract

Neural mobilization technique (MOB) is a noninvasive method which has demonstrated in basic research and in clinical trials to be effective in reducing the sensitivity to pain. The present study aims to examine, through the analysis of cytokines, the effects of MOB on pain sensitivity induced by chronic constriction (CCI) of the sciatic nerve in rats, as well as assess the locomotion of animals by sciatic functional index (SFI).
