WRITING IN SPANISH AND THE USE OF PEDAGOGICAL BILINGUAL DICTIONARIESScientific research which main goal is to present standards elaboration of pedagogical bilingual dictionaries in Portuguese-Spanish, focusing in enhancing the educational value of lexicographical work of Spanish language specific to the Brazilian apprentice. The research's specific goals are: developing lexicographical reflections about pedagogical bilingual dictionaries in similar languages, as Portuguese and Spanish; promoting the use of dictionaries by High School students of Spanish from Brazilian public schools, to examine the support given by pedagogical bilingual dictionaries for apprentices at the time of producing proposed textual genres in textbooks of Spanish language approved in the Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) 2012 - Ensino Médio; identifying possible limitations of Spanish pedagogical bilingual dictionaries, regarding the aid in the written textual productions, establishing criteria for the preparation of dictionaries that can remedy and / or mitigate the possible limitations identified in lexicographical works used. To address the proposed objectives, we are referring to the theoretical principles of Pedagogical Lexicography (RUNDELL, 1999; ENECOIZ OSINAGA, 2000; WERNER, 2005; MOLINA GARCIA, 2006; DURAN, 2008; DURÃO and ZACARIAS, 2007; CORDEIRO, 2011; ZACARIAS, 2011), the Contrastive Linguistics (CORDER, 1967; DURÃO, 2007) and Applied Linguistics (FERNÁNDEZ, 2003). This research, therefore, aims at contributing to the development of Portuguese-Spanish pedagogical bilingual dictionaries appropriate to the linguistic needs of learners of Spanish from Educação Básica at the time of producing written texts, and stress the importance of using pedagogical bilingual dictionary by learners in the context teaching and learning of foreign languages.Keywords: Pedagogical bilingual dictionaries.
