Abstract

This research aims to investigate the use of learning objects as a support mechanism for students with difficulties in the acquisition of literacy in the early years of elementary of public school. The main objective of this research is verify how the inclusion of this technological resource, accompanied by a pedagogical proposal, can help students overcome learning difficulties. The ICT have been considered important tools to improve the teaching-learning and innovation in teaching practices. Learning objects, this research focused resources, are able to make the educational process more contextualized, playful and interactive features that can help in understanding the contents studied, thus contributing to the teaching practice. Thus, in this research, we propose to use the learning objects during activities of continuing assistence of students in the classroom, where the teacher-helper works individually and differently with the group of students with learning difficulties. The learning objects will be installed on 3 or 4 tablets, and used collectively by a group of students in continuing assistence. The activities will be coordenated by Assistant Professor (PA) and supervisioned by researcher. Subsequently, the observations and data collected during the use of learning objects will be analyzed in an attempt to understand whether there was a reduction of students' difficulties and improvements and gains relating to the literacy process.
