Abstract

The general aim of this project is to identify and compare the impact of low simulation, medium and high fidelity in knowledge and undergraduate student satisfaction in nursing during the evaluation of eliminations. Quantitative and quasi-experimental study to be realized at University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing (EERP-USP). Will be attended in study the undergraduate students of courses in nursing of Bachelor's degree and Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Diploma Degree, older than 18 years, who already studied semiology and Semiotics and which has no clinical experience in hospitals. Data will be collected by them surveyed after the completion of a Workshop practical theoretical with simulated activity low, medium and high fidelity on nursing care in need of disposal. To collect data after the simulated activities the students will respond to Escala de Satisfação com as Experiências Clínicas Simuladas (ESECS). The survey data will be coded and double entered in the Excel spreadsheet application, which will be exported and analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences), version 18 (Windows). Will be performed statistical analysis for each of the aspects proposed in the data collection instruments. The descriptive analysis will be conducted through frequency analysis and percentage and the data will be correlated according to the objectives proposed in the study. Statistical analysis of the quasi-experimental phase will be conducted using parametric tests. To analyze ESECS will be conducted tests of the internal consistency calculation through the coefficient alpha (±) Cronbach and also as in the original scale items will be evaluated in practice dimensions, cognitive and behavioral. The discussion of the survey results will be held with reasons in the literature review, relevant to the proposed objectives. (AU)
