Abstract

The Programa Bolsa Família - PBF is a program of chash transfer income for families with per capita income less than seventy-seven reais for month. Among PBF objectives beyond combating poverty, provide the Food Security and Nutrition (Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional - SAN) of beneficiary families, in order to ensure the Human Right to Adequate Food - DHAA (Direito Humano à Alimentação Adequada). According to the United Nations, the right to food and a human right to all people, to have regular acess and ongoing food safe and healthy in sufficient quality and quantity, bought directly or financial media. The present study proposes to liste the municipais managers of the PBF in Santos, municipality of the north coast, with regard your perception about PBF as a powerful social policy in the process of ensuring the right to food, their understanding of the concept this law and how about the Programa Bolsa Família any municipality, turns or not to develop actions in this direction. For this purpose, will be conducted a cross-sectional study design with a qualitative research, using an instrument of semi-structured interviews validated by experts, and to qualitative analysis of results the thematic content analysis.
