Abstract

The studies and information about the elections before 1946 are still incipient. The proposal is to organize data on the election results for the House of Representatives between 1933 and 1937. During this period, there were the elections of 1933 and two in 1934 (a year marked by simultaneous election to the Chamber of Deputies and the Constituent Assemblies state). Between 1935 and 1937 were carried out also municipal elections. The set information should be collected in newspapers of the time and several Election Bulletins Electoral Tribunal. In a complementary manner, it is to consolidate data found in the Proceedings of the House of Representatives recently the county level, concerning Elections of deputies of the republican experience. The proposal open a new research agenda that favors discussion of the processes previous political democracy 1946. (AU)
