Abstract

This research project has as objective to investigate what are the meanings constructed on democratic management by different members of public schools belonging to the state public network. The proposal is part of an integrated research entitled "The (re) configuration of educational/school management after the critical period of the 1980s", which aims to analyze the (re) configuration of the area of educational administration / school in Brazil after critical period 1980, comparing the theoretical development and practical developments in the management of systems and school units. The research part of some findings that justify its implementation, among them two stand out: the survey we conducted indicated that few studies are developed focusing on all school members, since they prioritize teachers and administrators; there is a predominance of prescriptive research on school reality. The analysis material will be semi-structured interviews transcribed with all the different members of the schools - two managers (as), two teachers (as), two officials, two officials (as) two students. And for the analysis of the material collected will be used the theory of discourse.
