Abstract

This research, quantitative nature, investigating the actions of psychologists on the theme of ethnic and race relations, and the ways in which the categories "race," "ethnicity," "racial prejudice", "racial discrimination" and "racism" are represented by this / them. Data will be collected via online questionnaire, web survey, and will be analyzed from the perspective of Social Psychology. Through this questionnaire, the areas of actions of these professionals to query, the territories that encompass such performances and what type of service (public, private or standalone), if they have developed engineering or interventional projects in this area. Investigate also on the theoretical lines used, the training course and of the output, both texts published as oral communications, these professionals. Trying to understand the possible relationships between these variables / issues, will participate in this research the / the psychology professionals in the states of Amazonas, Bahia and Sao Paulo, aiming to make a comparative study, under a representational crop performances of the North, the Northeast and the Southeast of the country. This work aims to contribute to the mapping of performances and to train researchers / as and psychologists / those in its various task forces, have been challenged by the social and cultural construction of differences and inequalities and racism and its psychosocial effects.
