Abstract

The study proposes the analysis of the relationship between the audience and the interpreter during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Considering some rhetorical aspects, as e.g. decorum and a virtue known as evidentia, this investigation focuses on aspects that would eventually help to expose the dynamics inherent in the communication between the interpreter and the public during the renaissance, putting us closer to a proper intentional posture for the interpretation of this repertoire.
