Abstract

The biodegradable materials arise as an alternative to reduce the generation of waste, as in the treatment of public water supply, where aluminum sulfate generates high volume of sludge. This work aims to evaluate the production of acid ³-polyglumatic from the fermentation of soybean. The experiments will consist in assessing the efficiency of Bacillus subtilis in producing ³-polyglumatic acid, using conventional farming (BRS 284), the transgenic cultivar (BRS 359RR) and the cultivar of second generation (BRS 1001IPRO). It is expected that the soybean cultivars possess differences in centesimal composition, which will influence the production of ³-PGA. After establishing the cultivar which best meets the needs of micro-organisms, fermentation will take place the optimization of the production process of the biopolymer, varying different factors such as time, temperature, concentration of p.10536-10540, agitation and initial pH. This experimental line will contribute to implementation of the aid for Regular Search FAPESP n° 2015/02650-8.
