Abstract

We propose the study and development of optomechanical microcavities in distinct materials and geometries. Several systems will be explored, such that the piezoeletricity and the photoelasticity can be used to improve the optomechanical coupling. We aim to achieve the induced strong coupling regime, where non-classical phenomena can be observed. (AU)
