Abstract

The morphological and morphometric parameters are fundamental the understanding of the debris flow - mass movement with high destructive power and with a capacity to mobilize an enormous quantity of materials. From this project, seeking out to deepen and improve the knowledge about the System of Automated Geoscientific Analysis (SAGA), still used in Brazil. In it, the morphological and morphometric parameters are obtained, mainly the modules of "Hydrology" and "Morphometry". For the generation of stratifications, the instrument was unpublished, the Digital Terrain Model with a resolution of 12m. The methods were divided into three steps: laboratory work with SAGA GIS software; (a) Fieldwork for measurement of hydrological and pedological reference of soils; (b) Application of SAGA GIS for treatment and (c) analysis of data obtained in the field. Getting as main results of this project, a production of hydrological and geologists maps, as well as a production of a scientific report. (AU)
