Abstract

The acceleration is an educational practice which aims to adequate the level of knowledge of gifted students adjusted to their needs. It permits the students' advance at school, following the performance rhythm. Nevertheless, this practice might be confused with age adjust or failing, letting aside its true function. The present study aims to verify and to analyze the existence of managers' knowledge of two kindergarten schools about gifted school acceleration and to investigate if educational managers show acceptance about acceleration. The research is descriptive and qualitative. To collect the dates, this will use the questionnaire. (AU)
