Abstract

The fight against child labor is a commitment made by Brazil in the document "Decent Work in the Americas: A Hemispheric Agenda, 2006-2015", which provides for the eradication of the worst forms of work by the year 2015 and in its entirety up to the year of 2020. In view of the difficulties in combating this type of work, the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), in its eighth axis, "Decent Employment and Economic Growth", extended the latter by 2025.
