Abstract

The purpose of this reseach will be, in the presence or absence of exogenous enzymes, to evaluate nutrient balance and apparent ileal and standardized digestibility of the amino acids of rice bran in broilers feeding. The enzymes used will be: carbohydrase, phytase and combination of both. One hundred and four broilers from 22 to 27 days old will be used to determine the nutritional balance (test 1 - total collection of feces in the period of 22 to 25 days old) and apparent ileal and standardized digestibility of amino acids (test 2 - ileal collection at 27 days old) from rice bran (RB), which will be housed in metabolic cages, distributed in a completely randomized design in a factorial 2 x 2 + 1, being: first factor the phytase enzyme in the dosage of 0 and 50mg, and the second factor the multi-carbohydrase compound at dosage of 0 and 200mg. The treatments will be (RB without enzyme, RB + phytase, RB + carbohydrase, RB + phytase + carbohydrase). The treatments will be applied in 5 repetitions (4 birds/cage ), totalizing 80 birds. During digestibility evaluation, a diet for the determination of endogenous losses will be provided (control treatment - diet R) in another 6 repetitions (4 birds/cage) totaling 24 birds. The treatments will be composed of a reference diet (DR) and four corn-based diets (test - 1) or maize starch (test - 2). The diet without enzyme supplementation will consist of 70% of DR and 30% of the test ingredient as the only source of protein (Replacement method). In Test 2, a DR will be formulated with 5% of casein for the determination of endogenous losses of amino acids. All diets will be supplemented with vitamins and minerals to supply the minimum nutritional demands according to Rostagno et. al. (2017). The data will be submitted to analysis of variance using the PROC GLM do SAS 9.2.
