Abstract

The objective of this research is to present a project to be developed as an Initiation Scientific Research in Brazilian Literature. In it, we seek to list the main ideas and outline some analytical aspects to be developed in the proposed research: to analyze how the old age of the woman is developed on four Lispector short stories, being they "Feliz Aniversário" (1960), "Laços de Família" (1960), "O Grande Passeio" (1971) and "A Partida do Trem"(1974). For this, the idea is to observe the stories and how the author constructs the old characters, understanding the place they occupy in each context and, at a later time, to point out repetitions and recurrences between them. From this point, it will be possible to observe how the subject of old age and the way in which Clarice Lispector developes it is related to her work, adding new perspectives to the author's critical fortune.
