Abstract

The rural population settled in the Pontal do Paranapanema, originated from the struggle for land, has demonstrated the capacity of organization around food production, as opposed to the political-strategic-economic interests of the Sugarcane Agro-Business . The rural settlements while land work, v is m fulfilling important role in income generation, the production of various foods, in boosting local markets and, therefore, shows ing food sovereignty and its strategic importance to society, against the monoculture of sugarcane. Despite this contrapo capacity sition be immersed in the contradictions of working processes and manufacturing hegemonized are at agroindustrial capital sugarcane, farmers/settlers perform class of dispute (re) produce fighting experiences and related resistance collective production groups, associations and cooperatives, in daily life in the settlement, in the family, in the work of the land, near the nearby rural and urban communities, as well as when they would work together to guarantee the maintenance of the family in the lot. Thus, we have the aim of gathering experiences of the peasants who participate in the organizations that produce and market food in the rural settlements of Pontal do Paranapanema, considering the extent and size of the conflicts with which these individuals are confronted for their maintenance/permanence in the face of destructive territorial dynamics of the sugarcane agrohydrobusiness, for that, we will primarily use qualitative methodology techniques.
