Abstract

The growing demand for the development of new adjuvants is guided in order to powerful action and non-toxic, and still with the ability to modulate cellular responses (Th1) in addition to the already obtained (Th2).Here we propose the study of the immune response induced by antigenic preparations of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) of Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B' with the cationic lipid Dioctadecildimetilamônio bromide (DODAB-BF) or the anionic lipid.Knowing the profile of immune response directed by adjuvants in interaction with the antigen is important, since this profile influences on protection against the pathogen. Swiss mice, will be immunized with OMVs of N. meningitidis B complexed to cationic or anionic lipids by intranasal route/subcutaneous, using the schema prime-booster. To characterize the interaction of antigens with the lipids will be assessed the average diameter, the indices of polidispersão and zeta potential.The OMVs and whole cells of the strain used in this study are characterized by SDS-PAGE. To evaluate the immune response profile of will be performed the techniques of ELISA, Immunoblotting and ELISpot
