Abstract

This research project aims to pursue clues in the production of subjectivities of indigenous people who have graduated in higher education and who have returned to their communities of origin. Such production implies opening up to experiencing other modes of being subjects, understanding that they come within fields of forces that relate, and enable the emergence of singular existences of life that subvert those subjected to preestablished social orders. In this case, we can ask, in one hand, for the affirmations of life that are produced by these indigenous people after returning to their communities after having graduated from higher education, have returned to their places of origin and, on the other hand, we ask how education Mathematics and Ethnomathematics can operate with these modes produced in their ways of theorizing about the relations between Mathematics and culture. To this end, we focused on an indigenous Guarani Kaiowá community in the municipality of Coronel de Sapucaia in Mato Grosso do Sul, the second Brazilian state with the largest presence of indigenous population and one of which has presented, in recent years, a steady growth of indigenous students entering the higher education. The production and analysis of data, which, according to our reference, is shown as a composition in the research, will be done together with Philosophy of Difference, Mathematical education and Ethnomathematics, proposing to map and experience events and transformations that are made up alongside the productions of world that are generated in and by the referred community.
