Abstract

This paper aims to understand the international circulation of pedagogical knowledge disseminated by Luiz Alves de Mattos, as well as to investigate its contributions to Brazilian education and some Spanish-speaking countries, such as Argentina, Mexico, Colombia. This research prioritizes the understanding of the circulation and appropriation of subjects, artifacts and models. Mattos pedagogical manuals are used as the main source, highlighting the Sumário de didática geral (1966) which was translated into Spanish by the Argentine publisher Kapelus. From the data already collected in the scientific initiation entitled O magistério na sala de aula: um estudo sobre A Linguagem Didática no Ensino Moderno (1956) e O Quadro-Negro e sua Utilização no Ensino (1954) de Luiz Alves de Mattos map the circuit of knowledge disseminated in the circulation of Luiz Alves de Mattos manuals. For this will be done: the deepening of data on the author's biography; the survey of academic works that cite it directly and indirectly; mapping the places where your books are consulted or cited; any visits to the collections when necessary.
