Abstract

The research proposed here aims to improve the interface of interactive whiteboards used in municipal education networks in the state of São Paulo developing a new design based on User Experience (UX) techniques. For this, we will study and apply concepts of UX, Human-Computer Interaction and User Centered Design methodologies, with a critical look at Jakob Nielsen's heuristics and current usability criteria. Through this research, we hope to suggest new layouts and interactivity strategies for digital whiteboards so that your pedagogical tools become easier and more enjoyable to use. (AU)
