Abstract

Individualized Educational Planning (IEP) is a support service for the schooling process, which can help the target audience of Special Education stay in school. With the arrival of these students to adulthood, questions arise about the use of PEI in the last years of middle school and high school in Brazilian public schools. At this time, the research is in the data collection phase with Brazilian students, through the use of messaging and videoconferencing applications. Considering the experience accumulated by the Spanish group, with interventions in naturalistic situations, this research aims to identify and analyze the data of the Brazilian research of the elaboration and application of 5 PEIs, of 5 students with Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or o Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their families, educational professionals, psycho-pedagogical team and speech therapists. The proposal is to identify new participation strategies for those involved, based on the strategies that will be analyzed and discussed with the Spanish group Comunicació, Llengua Oral i Diversitat (CLOD), implemented remotely with Brazilian families, whose data collection is in process. For this, the data generated by the collection of Brazilian data and Spanish public policies focused on people will be analyzed, through a support system, with the Spanish group. The Brazilian data collection will continue to be carried out remotely, in the same time with the participation of CLOD-UB. It is expected that this project can contribute to the dissemination of actively inclusive methodologies and promote the development of research in the area of inclusive education for young adults.
