Abstract

Argentinean anarchism and its political practice in the field of rationalist education and syndicalism is the subject of this research. Taking a period of two decades, from 1920 to 1940, we seek to identify the central elements of the development of the political action of this ideology in the labor movement, having as main focus the cities of Buenos Aires and Rosario. This period is marked by deep debates about the most adequate strategy to guide combative unionism, by an important anarchist performance in the field of education, by heated debates about the use of political violence and by a reduction in the influence of anarchism in the mass movement. We will dedicate ourselves to understanding the specificity of the relationship between these elements in the established period. (AU)
