Abstract

The urinary bladder of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) is widely investigated to understand the genetics and pathophysiology of primary hypertension, being characterized as an important etiological factor of lower urinary tract syndrome with bladder dysfunction, increased urinary frequency and reduced urinary capacity. bladder. High-intensity physical exercise (HIIT) is an alternative to enhance and promote positive changes in the control of arterial hypertension (AH). Given this, the aim of this study is to investigate the influence of arterial hypertension and HIIT on the urinary bladder of SHR rats. Will be used 22 male SHR rats, with 365 days of age, divided into 2 groups: SHRc (n=9) and SHR+T (n=11). The animals will undergo 5 days of adaptation to the training protocol before performing 8 weeks of HIIT training. After 48 hours of the end of the physical training protocol, the animals will be euthanized, the urinary bladder will be collected and fixed in bouin, washed in 70% alcohol, dehydrated, diaphanized, included in paraplastic and cut 5 ¼m thick for later histological and immunohistochemical analyses. Hematoxylin and Eosin, Toluidine Blue, PicroSirius Red and Periodic Acid Schiff stains will be obtained, in addition to immunostaining of BAX, BCL-2, IL-6, TNF-±, NF-kB p50, IL-10, HIF-1± proteins , VEGF, NGF, AT1 and MAS1. The echocardiographic evaluation will be performed before and after the period of physical training to verify the pressure values and the effect of HIIT after physical training. We will verify the expression of angiotensin II by Raman spectroscopy. Analyzes of oxidative stress and lipid profile will be performed. Statistical analyzes will be performed with a significance level of 5%.
