Brazilian medium-sized cities have gained prominence in recent research because they expand their urban fabric given the dynamization of public and private activities and the insertion of new means of consumption and housing. Given this, some public policies were being inserted in the urban context of the medium cities in a deregulated way, without the attention of creating possible mechanisms of installation. We highlight this point when we talk about the "Minha Casa, Minha Vida" Program and its housing production in the urban fabric of some medium-sized cities, with the presence of a significant amount of social housing without any technical criteria adopted regarding the access of the city population. Thus, there is a need to establish possible analytical parameters to understand how city residents access health services, employment, etc., in the face of an average city with problems of urban mobility and accessibility. Therefore, this project aims to understand the process of socio-spatial fragmentation in housing estates of the program "Minha casa, Minha Vida" (PMCMV) in the city of Ribeirão Preto / SP, from the vision of the urban journey made by the citizens in their daily commute.
