Abstract

This project aims, through practical research, to understand ways to turn podcasts, a form of accessible sound media, to people with hearing impairment, low hearing, or deafness using the resources of creative subtitling. Through the reinvention of the language, there are currently podcasts produced in audio-visual format, which means, in video format - combining audio and image. The research proposes to understand how it is possible to insert visual language into a sound product in an interactive and captivating way for the public who has difficulty consuming only the sound. Thus, as a form of practical research, there will be the production of the creative subtitling of the podcast Papo com Legenda, whose content is focused on the accessibility of audio-visual products.
