Abstract In the last two decades, the municipality of São Paulo has gone through a marked process of political opening for the implementation of measures that seek to make bicycle mobility viable along with the city's road system. Note, however, that policies for the integration of bicycles with the city's public transport and bus networks (metro, metropolitan trains and buses) are advancing in ways that are contained in spite of being provided for in planning, policy and goal documents. developed by the State Government and the Municipality Prefecture (PDUI - Integrated Urban Development Plan; PITU - Integrated Urban Transportation Plan; Mobility Plan; Goals Program and PlanClima SP). The main objective of this research is to analyze how bicycle integration policies advance in the state and municipal spheres in the city of São Paulo in the period between 2006 -2023. Thus, the research will chronologically raise the legal and planning frameworks of bicycle integration with the collective transport network, relating them to the implementation of these policies in practice. In this way, we will seek to understand: a) How bicycle integration policies advance in the state and municipal spheres of the city of São Paulo in the period between 2006 -2023; b) the plans and goals drawn up in the specified period; and c) the works related to public transportation built in the metropolitan region of São Paulo in the period between 2006 and 2023 are in accordance with the plans and goals, considering integration with bicycles. Finally, 2 transport infrastructures with bicycle parking garages built or modified in the period between 2006 and 2023 will be analyzed: the Butantã Metro Station and the Cidade Tiradentes Bus Terminal, from which we will try to understand how they work as urban equipments, aiming to understand the reason for its spatial distribution, its dynamics of use and its relationship with the city. | |
