Abstract

The goal of this work is the investigation of how the porous structure influences the encapsulation yield and release of proteins from two different ordered mesoporous silia (SMOs).In this study we will use the model protein BSA and crotoxin to determine the respective encapsulation yield and release dynamics. The main characterization techniques will be in-situ small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and nitrogen adsorption (NAI).
