Abstract

In this project, the synthesis of copper-porphyrazine tetraclusters will be investigated based on methods already developed in this laboratory for related systems. Afterwards, the chemical and spectroscopic behavior will ve investigated with special interest in electronic spectra, FTIR and resonance Raman. After characterization of the complexes, the electrochemical properties will be studied using cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemistry aiming to understand the redox characteristics in solution. Finally, application studies will be carried out in the energy area, focusing on catalysis of hydrogen formation and oxygen reduction, which are of great interest for fuel cells. (AU)
