Abstract

Child sexual violence (CSV) has alarming rates in Brazil and around the world. National and international literature points to schools as a fundamental institution in combating and preventing this violence; teacher training is a decisive element, but it is still fragile if this is to be achieved. In order to help overcome this problem, the aim of this research is to analyze a training course on the subject offered to pedagogy undergraduates at a public university in the interior of São Paulo. This is an intervention study, developed on bases validated by the international scientific community. The intervention will be developed through Dialogic Teacher Training (FDProf), in fifteen sessions of Scientific Dialogic Tertulias (TDC), in a university extension course. The research methodology used will be Communicative Methodology, with the techniques of interviews, focus groups and observations. As a result of this research, the aim is to produce knowledge about effective ways based on scientific evidence of training teachers to prevent ISV, building ways of overcoming a problem with social and cultural dimensions that victimizes thousands of children and adolescents every year in Brazil.
