Abstract

The objective of this work is to study the prevalence of the Burnout Syndrome in dental students. The sample will consist of dental students volunteers enrolled in Araraquara Dental School - São Paulo State University. For sample characterization, the socio-demographic information will be assembled and for the assessment of the Burnout state the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-SS), the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI) and the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) will be used. The questionnaire will be applied in classroom. The pilot study will be conducted for intra-examiner calibration. The data will be organized with descriptives analysis, and showed in tables and graphics. The evaluate associations it will be applied the chi-square test or Fisher Exact test, with the significant level of 5%.
