Abstract

(EN) The present invention relates to the field of medical science, more particularly to the field of preparations for dental or medical purposes, and even more particularly to pharmaceutical preparations, describing a composition containing cinnamoyloxy-mammeisin combined with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvants for the production of drugs for treating inflammatory diseases or inflammatory processes. The active ingredient of the present invention can be obtained synthetically or naturally by fractionation. The present invention describes, as a non-limiting embodiment, a composition containing cinnamoyloxy-mammeisin obtained by the bioguided fractionation of an ethanol extract of geopropolis from Melipona scutellaris.
