Abstract

(EN) The present invention relates to a method of identifying biomarkers for cholestasis, based on mass spectrometry and metabolomics, which can provide molecular evidence of cholestasis using samples of blood, preferably dried blood, from patients registered on the newborn screening programme, thereby providing early screening in the first 10 days of life, even before the appearance of symptoms.
