Bachelors degree in Physical Education (1999) and specialization in Adapted Sports from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2000). Completed a Masters degree in Psychobiology (2003), a Ph.D. in Sciences (2007), and a Postdoctoral fellowship (2011) at the Federal University of São Paulo. She has been an Associate Professor at the School of Applied Sciences (FCA) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) since 2012 and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Sports Science undergraduate program (term 2025-2027).She is a faculty member in the graduate programs in Nutrition, Sports and Metabolism Sciences (CNEM/Unicamp) and at the School of Physical Education (FEF/Unicamp). She coordinates the Laboratory of Sleep and Physical Exercise (LASEF/FCA/Unicamp) and is a member of the Center for Research in Sports Sciences (CEPECE/FCA/Unicamp).Her academic and scientific work includes teaching, basic and clinical research, and outreach, with a focus on psychobiological aspects related to Physical Education. Her main research topics are sleep, sleep disorders, adapted physical education, and physical exercise. She is currently the coordinator of the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Division of the Brazilian Sleep Association (ABS). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
