Bachelors degree in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agricultural and Technological Sciences (FCAT/UNESP). Masters (20162019) and PhD (20192023) in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Animal Science at FZEA/USP, with a concentration in Animal Quality and Productivity. I conducted a research internship abroad (BEPE/FAPESP no. 2021/12819-0) as a Research Scholar at Purdue University (USA) from March 2022 to March 2023, which led to an invitation to return as a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Theresa Casey, in the Department of Animal Science, where I worked from 2023 to 2024. At Purdue, I supervised one Master's student and eight undergraduate students, participating in projects related to nutrition and milk production/performance in swine, perinatal nutrition and fertility in pigs, as well as lipidomic and metabolomic analyses using the MRM-profiling method, in collaboration with Dr. Christina Ramires Ferreira from the Metabolite Profiling Facility. This international experience significantly enhanced my technical and analytical skills in metabolomics and lipidomics and resulted in the publication of several high-impact scientific articles. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Andrology and Swine Embryo Technology (LATES/FZEA-USP), where I am involved in projects focused on the use of metabolomics/lipidomics as a tool to identify biomarkers of semen freezability in swine and the use of antioxidants in boar semen doses. My solid academic background and extensive research experience in the field of animal quality and productivityespecially in swineencompass experimental and laboratory management, as well as advanced skills in data collection, processing, statistical analysis, and interpretation. During my Masters and PhD, I investigated the impact of the omega-6/omega-3 ratio on pig health and immunity, using pigs as a translational model for human health. My doctoral thesis was nominated by the Graduate Program in Animal Science for the 19th CAPES Thesis Award (2024 edition). I serve as an ad hoc reviewer for Livestock Science and PLOS ONE. I have also participated actively in academic administration at FZEA/USP, serving as a student representative on the Campus Council of USP Fernando Costa (20192020), on the Graduate Program Committee (CPG, 20202021), on the Local Committee of the Teaching Improvement Program (CL-PAE, 20202021), and as an alternate member of the Research Committee (CPq, 20202021).
