Marina Angélica Marciano da Silva holds a degree in Dentistry from the Bauru School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FOB/USP, 2008), as well as a Masters degree (2011) and a Ph.D. (2014) in Applied Dental Sciences with a focus on Endodontics from the same institution. Her doctoral studies included a research internship (sandwich doctorate) at the University of Malta. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at FOB/USP, with a research stay at the University of Malta in 2016.She is currently an Associate Professor in the Endodontics Division of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Piracicaba Dental School, University of Campinas (FOP/UNICAMP). She is involved in undergraduate teaching, graduate education (Masters and Ph.D. levels), and continuing education. Her academic activities include coordinating extension courses and leading research projects focused on biomaterials in Endodontics, with particular emphasis on the biological response and clinical performance of endodontic cements.Professor Marciano da Silva serves as principal investigator on research projects funded by national granting agencies and coordinates institutional initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory infrastructure.
