Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Information Science at the University of Brasília (UnB), also serving as a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Computer Science at the University of São Paulo (USP), and holds a PhD and a Masters degree in Information Science from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). She is a librarian and also holds a Bachelors degree in Information Technology. She previously served as Coordinator of Bibliographic Services at the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict).Her academic and professional trajectory is marked by the integration of research, teaching, and outreach, with emphasis on metadata, linked open data, conceptual models, digital curation, and data management. She also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for funding agencies, scientific journals, and specialized committees in Brazil and abroad, contributing to the advancement of the field of Information Science.
