Animal Scientist graduated from São Paulo State University (UNESP) Botucatu campus, with Masters and Ph.D. degrees obtained from the same institution, with emphasis on nutrition and health of aquatic organisms. Part of the doctoral studies was conducted through a sandwich program at Texas AM University (College Station, USA), focusing on immunology and in vitro analyses.Two postdoctoral research fellowships (at ESALQ/USP, Piracicaba, and UNESP Botucatu) were dedicated to advancing research in animal nutrition and health. Academic and scientific experience includes the determination of nutritional requirements, digestibility trials, and the evaluation of additives with potential to improve animal performance and health, as well as agro-industrial co-products with functional properties.Expertise also includes studies in animal health, employing tools such as hematology, immunology, histology, assessment of antioxidant activity, enzymatic and biochemical analyses, in addition to conducting experimental challenges (bacterial, thermal, and those related to management and transport).Research findings have been published in high-impact international scientific journals, in collaboration with well-established research groups. Serves as a reviewer for scientific journals in the field of nutrition and health of aquatic organisms. Currently works as an Associate Researcher at Texas AM University, developing research projects focused on nutrition and health of aquatic organisms. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
