Graduated in Medicine from the University of Campinas (1998), with specialization in hematology and hemotherapy (2001); PhD in Medical Physiopathology from the University of Campinas (2006). Areas of interest as a researcher are are the interactions between hemostasis and inflammation, and the diagnosis and management of disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and medical education. Member of the Technical Committee on Hemostasis of the Brazilian Association of Hematology and Hemotherapy, and currently, Vice-Dean of the School of Medical Sciences of University of Campinas.
