Abstract

Objectives: To estimate the psychometric properties of evaluation instruments for presenteism applied to teachers and technical-administrative workers of Brazilian public universities and to verify the contribution of individual, occupational and exhaustive characteristics in presenteeism. Methods: Cross-sectional observational study to be developed at four public universities: University of São Paulo (Campi Ribeirão Preto and São Paulo); University of Campinas; State University of São Paulo (Araraquara Campus) and Federal University of São Carlos. The population will be represented by teachers and technical-administrative workers of these institutions. The versions adapted to the Brazilian context of the Stanford Presenteism Scale SPS-6, Work Limitation Questionnaire - WLQ, Work Productivity and Activity Impairment General Health - WPAI-GH and Copenhagen Burnout Inventory - CBI will be used. To evaluate the psychometric properties of the instruments, the Structural Equation Modeling technique will be used. The validity of the construct (factorial, convergent, discriminant and concurrent), discriminant criterion and the reliability of the instruments will be estimated. The validity of the factorial construct will be estimated by means of the confirmatory analysis of the theoretical models proposed for each instrument, using the WLSMV estimation method and the quality indexes of the adjustment Ç2 / gl, IFC, TLI and RMSEA. The validity of the convergent construct will be evaluated from the VEM of each factor and the existence of discriminant validity will be considered if VEMi and VEMjerij2. The validity of the concurrent construct will be estimated through a correlation analysis between the factors of the instruments. As the discriminant criterion of the presentism will be used the exhaustion, estimated from the multi-group analysis. Finally, reliability will be assessed from internal consistency and composite reliability. (AU)
