Abstract

This project of research, that is being considered to be developed next to the Group of Research in New Materials and Applications, of the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, of the College of Science and Technology of the UNESP of Presidente Prudente, it will give continuity in the project that was finished in September, entitled "Colloidal incorporation of metallic nanoparticle of gold in membrane of natural rubber", process FAPESP N.2007/04742-0. It will be studied the nanostructured natural rubber membranes and the following-up of the growth kinetics of gold nanoparticles, where an investigation will be made to try to identify the constituents of the natural rubber responsible for the reduction of the nanoparticles, that make the membranes besides an active substratum, a reducer agent. Therefore, in these terms, this project considers an investigation of the reduction process of nanoparticles metallic involving the natural rubber membranes by means of related studies influences it of pH, as much of the latex how much of the gold solution, the processes involving the growth of nanoparticles in solution, that characterizes the change of color, the relation between the reduction and the different applied thermal treatments in the preparation of membranes. Structural characterization, thermal analysis, microscopy and conductive properties will be made to identify possible properties attributed to this incorporation. Finally, it will be made a study of application of the membranes with gold nanoparticles as biological sensors. (AU)
