Methodology for the development of fashion products

Abstract

This research project aims to propose a methodology for developing apparel products that are in scope attributes fashion. As we know the textile and apparel industry lacks tools projetuais objective that can assist the designer in the decision making processes in developing collections. The whole process of product development is done empirically, compromising the creative process of the professional. Thus, the adoption of practices systematized projetuais becomes increasingly necessary, since competitiveness in this sector has increased exponentially. The meager time and correct decoding of intangibles in the development of a product are also some of the variables that push the designer and end up stunting their creativity. Thus, we identified the need to develop a methodology that can systematize, organize and prioritize information needed to develop products and to allow a proper evaluation of the professional needs of its target audience, assisting you in the creative process. We thus hope to contribute to further studies in this area yet so lacking in Brazil, but it has high industrial representation, generating thousands of direct and indirect jobs. (AU)
