Abstract

Using the pure spinor formalism, it was possible to compute for the first time the 3-loop superstring amplitude. But the relation of this computation with the conventional RNS formalism for the superstring is not yet understood.During his visit, Prof. Movshev will collaborate with Profs. Berkovits and Mikhailov on studying the relation between the computations using the two formalisms. Prof. Movshev is an expect in the partition function of beta-gamma systems, and recently developed methods for computing the pure spinor partition function. (AU)
