Abstract This research proposes a reflection on the problematic of image from Asuriní´s perspective. The research will be done with the approach of two modes of image production, during shamanic rituals, while shamans dream, perform and narrate their travel experiences to the world of spirits, and in the process of joint production of a movie in a situation of intercultural interaction.Considering the similarities between the shaman and audiovisual narratives we employ the concept of performance to think about images production, to articulate concerns of visual anthropology and anthropology of performance. Seeks to analyze the production of images in the context of shamanism, from the shaman's performance, and performative aspects in the production of audiovisual images, the process of preparing the film. It is hoped thus to collect elements to reflect on how to build an experience perspective Asuriní in the contemporary world from their traditional forms (ritual and cosmology) and on forms and expressive means non-indigenous (audiovisual). | |
