Abstract

Experimental research repeatedly has reported that once some relations among stimuli are established, other untrained relations, are derivated. Researchs about this topic make possible experimental explanations of different new emergent behavior. In this context, it will be proposed two studies in this Project. In Study 1, 50 undergraduate students will be trained aiming to stablish hierarchical relations between meaningless stimuli and faces expressing emotions. It will be evaluated the transformation of functions with two instruments the IRAP and the Semantic Differential. In Study 2, 48 undergraduate students will be trained to relate by opposition, similarity and hierarchy meaningless stimuli sets and faces expressing emotions. The number of stimuli in each class possibly will allow to test the nodality effects in these different relations. So, it is expected, basically, with these studies to contribute with data concerning transformation of functions established on different relational frames.
