Abstract

The regular practice of aerobic exercise when performed continuously at moderate intensity (~ 65% VO2 peak), is closely related to anti-inflammatory and anti-atherogenic, also further the reduction of fat deposits, preventing this way the overweight frame / obesity. In contrast, there is a growing practice of aerobic exercise intermittently, at high intensity (~ 100% of the maximum speed) in order to reduce deposits of fat, as well as improved metabolic condition (glycemic control and dyslipidaemia). However, it is incipient knowledge of the anti-inflammatory response against intermittent training programs high intensity. The objective of this study is to evaluate the acute and chronic anti-inflammatory response against to the realization of high-intensity interval training (HIIT: the English term for high-intensity intermittent training). To answer this question, male subjects will be recruited, eutrophic, aged 18 and 30, which will be randomized into three groups: 1) control group (not perform physical training); 2) continued training group (perform moderate continuous training, 65% of peak VO2, 5km per session 3x per week); 3) intermittent training group of high intensity (perform high-intensity intermittent training, 100% of the maximum speed, 1 minutes of exercise and 1 minute pause passive, 5km, 3x per week). The training programs will last six weeks. The project will answer the following questions: 1) evaluate the inflammatory response (TNF-±, IL-6 and IL-10) Acute and chronic front of different exercise training programs. In addition, the metabolic response (glucose, lactate and free fatty acids) will also be evaluated.
