Abstract

This research project considers the theoretical analysis and computational implementation of three optimization techniques applied to reconfiguration of feeders in radial distribution systems. Thus, we intend to implement a mathematical model of exact optimization with incorporating surrogate constraintes to accelerate the solution process when used commercial solvers to solve this type of model, an optimization technique that takes into account reducing the search space in reconfiguration problem, and a genetic algorithm highly specialized leveraging the reduced search space and efficient ways to implement the algorithm genetic. With the developed algorithm, we intend to test existing large systems in literature. (AU)
