Abstract This project aim the grant of BEPE's scholarship linked to the main project DE MULIERIBUS: The Anger characteristic of Seneca's female characters, FAPESP number 2018/07948-3. The main research intends to analyze the female characters of Lucius Annaeus Seneca, particularly those who named his plays, under the perspective of the De Ira's dialogue. Among others subjects, this investigation focuses on the female characters' construction composed by the roman philosopher. Thereby, as part of the main research to be developed in Lisbon, we intent to consider the differences and similarities of Seneca's leading characters Medea, Phaedra, Hecuba, Andromache, Jocasta and Antigone in comparison with the Euripidean characterizacion of the same women in his Greek plays.
