Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the performance of a building that houses cultural and / or museological spaces, located in the city of São Paulo, through the Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE), regarding aspects related to functionality, with emphasis on accessibility and relationships between architecture and exhibition design, including visual communication. The aim is to assess the adequacy of the building to the performance standards, as well as the perception and satisfaction of the users with regard to visual communication, exhibition furniture, infrastructure and building as a whole, making it possible to understand the needs of the various categories of the users (visitors and staff) and to propose, as far as possible, some improvements (physical interventions) in the case study to be evaluated, that is, to obtain diagnoses and recommendations for the object of study.
