Abstract

This study will reveal the phenomenon of path using the virtual learning environment from the nursing students of a private university in São Paulo. Thus, the aim is to understand how nursing students experience the use of a virtual learning environment in their training as a nurse, will be identified the typical student experience in actions involving the use of digital tools in nursing education. The proposed research is based on the theoretical framework of phenomenological sociology of Alfred Schutz, considering that people express in their actions socially experienced the meaning of these experiences. The testimonies of individuals who experience the phenomenon will be obtained from phenomenological interviews guided by the following guiding questions: 1) What has been your experience in using Moodle in their nursing training? 2) How has your participation in the conduct of activities in AVA? 3) What do you expect with the use of AVA for their education in nursing? In the analysis of the testimonies will be built the kind of undergraduates lived in the use of virtual learning environment in their training as a nurse. This study will contribute to the understanding of the use of information and communication technology as a teaching resource, revealing the reality of the digital world from the nursing educational processes as generating capability that opens new possibilities to produce innovative knowledge.
